This Privacy Policy (the "Policy") identifies
and describes the way Cloud4Wi Inc. (the "Company") uses and protects
the information collected about Customers and Users. By using the
Services, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of information in
accordance with this Policy. This Policy is incorporated by reference into the Cloud4Wi Terms of Use and Cloud4Wi EULA and is subject to the provisions of the Cloud4Wi
Terms of Use and the Cloud4Wi EULA. The terms "you," "your,"
and "user" refer to the user accessing or using the Cloud4Wi Service
(the "Service").
The Information the Company
collects
The
Company may collect different types of personal and other information based on
your use of the Service and its business relationship with you. Some examples
include:
Personal Information
specifically identifies an individual, including your name, address, telephone
number, and e-mail address. Personal Information also includes information,
such as demographic information (e.g., date of birth, gender, geographic area,
and preferences), when any of this information is linked to Personal
Information that identifies that individual.
Billing information
related to your financial relationship with the Company, including your payment
data, credit history, credit card number, Social Security numbers, security
codes, and service history
Equipment,
performance, viewing and other technical Information about your use of the
Service.
How the Company collects the Information
The
Company collects information in following primary ways:
Collection of
Voluntarily-Provided Information: You give it to the Company when you
purchase or interact with the Company about the Service. For example, Company collects
the Personal Information that you provide in the course of registering for an
account or creating or updating a user account or profile. This information may
include, name, postal address, telephone number, e-mail address, and related
demographic information. Company may indicate that some Personal Information is
required to register for the account, while some is optional.
Collection of
Passive Information: When you use the Services, some information is collected
automatically. For example, when you access the Services, the Company
automatically collects your browser's Internet Protocol (IP) address, your
browser type, the nature of the device from which you are visiting the Services
(e.g., a personal computer or a mobile device), identifiers for any handheld or
mobile device that you may be using, the Web site that you visited immediately
prior to accessing any Web-based Services, the actions you take on the Services,
and the content, features, and activities that you access and engage with on the
Services. The Company collects information about your activity using
technologies such as cookies, Flash cookies, Web beacons, widgets and server
log files.
Network Usage
Information Collected by the Services: Some of the Services collect information
from terminal devices connected to networks that are managed by those Services.
Those Services also collect information regarding the performance of, and
certain other information regarding, such networks. This information includes,
for example, MAC address, device type, operating system, geolocation
information, and network traffic information (e.g., hostnames, protocols, port
numbers, and IP addresses). This information is made available to
administrators of networks managed by the Services through an online interface called
the "Control Panel".
Collection of
Aggregate and Anonymous Information: The Company collects some information on
an anonymous basis. The Company obtains Aggregate Information by combining
anonymous data that meet certain criteria into groups. The Company may share
Aggregate or Anonymous Information in various formats with trusted entities,
and may work with those entities to do research and provide services.
Information from
Other Sources: The Company may receive information about you, including
Personal Information, from affiliated and unaffiliated third parties, and may
combine this information with other Personal Information collected in order to
have accurate information.
How the Company uses the Information
The Company may use your Personal information collected in a
variety of ways, including to:
Provide the Services
to customers;
Provide information
and otherwise respond to your requests, including sales inquiries, email
requests, and shipping requests;
Enhance, improve,
operate and maintain the Services;
Improve of the
Services;
Prevent fraudulent
use of the Services;
Prevent or take
action against activities that are, or may be, in violation of the Cloud4Wi
EULA, the Cloud4Wi Terms of Use, or applicable law;
Tailor content and
other aspects of your experience on and in connection with the Services (e.g.
location-based services);
Maintain a record
of the dealings with you;
Contact you
regarding Services, both from ourselves and third parties, that the Company
believes you may find of interest.
In addition, the
Company may use the information collected for other administrative purposes and
for any other purposes that the Company may disclose to you at the point at
which the Company requests your Personal Information, and pursuant to your
consent.
Disclosure of Information
Except as described
in this Policy, the Company will not disclose your Personal Information that
collects on the Services to third parties without your consent. The Company may
disclose Personal Information to third parties if you consent to us doing so,
as well as in the following circumstances:
Service Providers: The Company may
disclose Personal Information to third-party service providers (e.g., payment
processing and data storage and processing facilities) that assist the Company
in the work. The Company limits the Personal Information provided to these
service providers to that which is reasonably necessary for them to perform
their functions, and it requires them to agree to maintain the confidentiality
of such Personal Information.
Business Transfers:
Information
about users, including Personal Information, may be disclosed and otherwise
transferred to an acquirer, successor, or assignee as part of any merger,
acquisition, debt financing, sale of company assets, or similar transaction, as
well as in the event of an insolvency, bankruptcy, or receivership in which
Personal Information is transferred to one or more third parties as one of Company
business assets.
To Affiliated
Companies: The Company may disclose Personal Information and other
information to its parent company and to other corporate affiliates. These
affiliated third-party companies may use and disclose Personal Information and
other information that the Company discloses to them in accordance with their
privacy policies and procedures.
To Channel Partners: The Company may
disclose Personal Information and other information to channel partners, such
as resellers. These third parties may use such Personal Information and other
information that the Company discloses to them for purposes such as marketing the
products and services to you.
To Protect Company
Interests: The Company also may disclose Personal Information and other
information if it believes that doing so is legally required or is in Company
interest to protect Company property or other legal rights (including, but not
limited to, enforcement of agreements) or the rights or property of others, or
otherwise to help protect the safety or security of the Services or other users
of the Services.
Choices Regarding Promotional Communications
If you receive
commercial e-mail from Company, you may unsubscribe at any time by following
the instructions contained within the e-mail. Additionally, if Company offers
user account functionality on the Service, Company may allow you to view and
modify settings relating to the nature and frequency of promotional
communications that you receive.
Please be aware
that if you opt-out of receiving commercial messages from Company, you will
continue to receive administrative messages regarding the Service.
Privacy Policy for children
The
Company does not knowingly collect personally identifying information from
anyone under the age of 13 unless it first obtains permission from that child's
parent or legal guardian. If the Company learns that has collected Personal
Information from a child under the age of 13 on the Services, it will delete
that information as quickly as possible.
Security
Cloud4Wi is hosted
on the cloud infrastructure of Amazon EC2 Web Services. Unfortunately, the
transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. The Company
cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted via the Service. Once
the Company has received your information, the Company will use strict
procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorized access. As
access to the Service is through your chosen social media platform you should
ensure when using these features that you do not submit any personal data that
you do not want to be seen, collected or used by other users.
How long the Company retains Personal Information
The Company retains
Personal information about you in its regular business records while you are a
subscriber to the Service. The Company also retains this information for 24
months after you are no longer a subscriber or until it is no longer needed for
the purposes for which it was collected or to satisfy legal requirements. These
purposes typically include business, legal, or tax purposes.
Customer privacy controls and choices
As
the Company offers the ability to create user accounts or profiles on the
Service, at the same time you may have the ability to access and update certain
categories of Personal Information that you provide by logging in to your
account and accessing your account settings. If you wish to access, amend, or
delete any other Personal Information the Company hold about you, you may
contact the Company at privacy@cloud4wi.com.
If
you request access to your account including deletion requests on the Service
(via a user settings page, by e-mail, or otherwise) including requests to
remove testimonials that contain Personal Information, the Company will respond
to your access requests within 30 days.
Please
note that Company may need to retain some of your Personal Information in order
to satisfy legal obligations, prevent fraud, collect any fees owed, resolve disputes,
troubleshoot problems, assist with any investigations, and take other actions
otherwise permitted by law.
Updates to this Policy
Any
updates to this Policy based on changes in the Service, customer feedback or
general policy updates will be posted here and the "last updated"
date below changed to reflect this. The Company will not reduce your rights
under this Privacy Policy without your explicit consent. The Company will post
any Privacy Policy changes on this page and, if the changes are significant, the
Company will provide a more prominent notice. For example, the Company may send
a message to your email address, or generate a pop-up or similar notification
when you access the Service for the first time. The Company encourages you to
periodically review this Policy to stay informed about how the Company
collects, uses, and discloses Personal Information. Your continued use of the
Service after the revised Policy has become effective indicates that you have
read, understood and agreed to the current version of this Policy.
